Despite initial scepticism, the iPad has become one of Apple’s best sellers. In fact, when we got one it replaced the family laptop almost instantly. It’s appeal is obvious even if people try to tarnish it’s appeal by insisting on using it as their primary camera when out and about!
Both new iPads feature Apple’s Touch ID, Apple’s motion processors (M7 & M8) and for the first time will be available in gold.
iPad Air 2
The new Air features a laminated display which means a thinner profile, now just 6.1mm thick. Burst and slow mode are now available on the iPad Air thanks in part to the new A8X processor and motion tracking is even useful thanks to the inclusion of a barometer.
iPad Mini 3
The iPad Mini 3 is as you would expect with just the introduction of Touch ID as the biggest difference.
