The Tumbler from the Dark Knight Trilogy is a real ‘car’, built to function rather than just be something that exists digitally. In fact most Batmobiles have been real, so it’s great that this is no exception, even if it’s style is nothing like the many that have preceded it.
Jay Leno managed to get the Tumbler into his garage has a look around and is even lucky enough to drive Batman’s Tumbler.
It’s a menacing thing, that’s for sure and I think that’s why it fit Christopher Nolan’s take on Batman perfectly. It has just enough gadgets to get the job done without being ridiculous.
Owning something like this would either be completely impracticle or extremely expensive, but luckily Batman’s Tumbler is available in Lego form too.
